Book your ticket to the Wroclaw Zoo, one of the biggest attractions in Poland. Enjoy the aquatic environments of Africa in Afrykarium, meet exotic birds, and learn about wolves, wildcats, and lynxes.

Wroclaw zoo is visited by 1.6 million people each year and there is something to do and enjoy for everyone. Explore the famous Afrykarium to see Nile hippos float around the water, spot dikdiki, one of the smallest African antelopes, and watch relaxing manatees. Have a look at the cichlid collections found in the Lakes Tanganyika and Malawi.

In the rest of the zoo, you can visit the Odrarium, a unique facility with animals and plants of the Odra river basin. Make sure to pass by the exhibition of wolves, wildcats, and lynxes. Learn about the animals and support the protection of these species. In the Aviary, you can stroll around admiring numerous exotic birds, like the iconic birds of paradise, and the endangered Palawan hornbills.

There is something to do for anyone in Wroclaw Zoo. Get ready for a day of fun!

Viktig information

There is no limit to visitors to the zoo but in the pavilions, and the Afrykarium, the number of visitors is managed by a security guard
Please wear casual clothes, adapted to the weather, and keep in mind that the pavilions are heated
An audioguide is available in the Afrykarium but not included in this ticket, you can purchase the audio guide on the spot for 10 PLN which you can pay by card or cash (PLN)
The concession ticket is valid for children aged 3 to 7 years, and primary or high school students up to 21 years
Children under the age of 3 can join for free and do not require a ticket

In the case you arrive by car, you can leave your car at the paid parking vis a vis the ZOO, next to Hala Stulecia.

You can easily get to the ZOO using public transport (take tram numbers 1,2,4,10, or buses numbers 145 or 146). During high season (April through September) it is also possible to enter the ZOO from the side of the Odra River, through Brama Japońska.

I had a fantastic time at the wroclaw zoo the staff were most helpful and the array of animals was amazing. They are so well kept and in the best condition and all vert happy. This is the best zoo I have been to and the best zoo experience.
