Visit the Cumbemayo archaeological complex, which includes three main areas: the aqueduct, the sanctuary, and the caves, all surrounded by an impressive stone forest. The aqueduct is a nine-kilometre canal carved into volcanic rock, designed to divert water from nearby hills to Cajamarca city.
The sanctuary features a cliff resembling a gigantic human head, with a crack shaped like a mouth and low-relief carvings. Finally, in the caves, you find walls adorned with an intricate set of lines and anthropomorphic and feline figures. After the tour, you are transferred back to your hotel.
