Meet the guide at your location and begin the trip to Berat, one of Albania’s unique historic cities. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Berat is known for its Ottoman-era houses and rich past.

The first stop is Belshi Lake, a calm and scenic area perfect for a short break before heading onward.

In Berat, visit the impressive Berat Castle, a centuries-old fortress where people still live today. Walk through its ancient streets, enjoy panoramic views, and see beautifully preserved Byzantine churches.

You can also visit the Onufri Museum (optional), which displays sacred icons painted in vivid red and gold tones.

Later, explore the charming neighbourhoods of Mangalemi and Gorica. These quarters, divided by the Osumi River and joined by the Gorica Bridge, showcase the city’s traditional charm.

Free time and lunch follow, with about two and a half hours to explore the modern part of the city, take photos, and relax.

The journey ends with the return to Tirana.

Since Berat is located further south than Tirana, temperatures during the summer can be noticeably higher. Bring a bottle of water, a sunhat, and wearing light, comfortable clothing to ensure you stay cool and enjoy the tour to the fullest

Furthermore, you will find the contact details on the voucher after booking. Important: Please walk a short distance (1–10 minutes) to a nearby main street from your hotel. This is usually due to certain hotels being located on narrow streets that the local provider's buses cannot easily access. If your hotel is outside the urban area, you need to come to a meeting point. You’ll receive the final details via email and WhatsApp the night before the tour.
