This hilltop fortress, castle, palace and monumental garden represent a sprawling and fantastic dream made real by successive kings of the Nasrid dynasty. With your expert local guide, you’ll explore all of its treasures, including:

The Alcazaba Fortress: the oldest part of the Alhambra complex
The Nasrid palaces: including the Mexuar, Comares, Lion palaces
The Generalife: the sultan’s summer palace, found east the Alhambra and surrounded by sculpted gardens

NOTE: The visiting order of the different areas will be determined by the hour of entrance for the Nasrid Palaces. On occasion, the Alhambra Trust may alter the order of the visit and restrict access to certain areas.

We booked an english tour. Our guide was Gustavo (Gus). We really enjoyed the tour. Gus answered all questions and took care that no one was lost. It was a really familiar atmosphere and the group was not to big. He was one of the best guides I ever had.

The Alhambra requires that all passengers provide the full name, date of birth and passport details for each participant when booking. If not provided, the Alhambra may deny access to the monument. The name given at the time of booking must be the same name that appears on the identity card of each participant
Due to the high demand for the Alhambra Palace, if the time slot you have chosen is not available, the supplier will book you into a new time slot
The Spanish and English language tours are always confirmed, but tours in French, German, and Italian require a minimum of 8 people to operate
