Leave the city lights behind and travel into the Arctic wilderness. During this activity, the guides check the forecasts and uses local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights.

You will travel wherever looks safest and with the best chances of seeing the Northern Lights within 1 hour of Tromsø city centre. Once you arrive at the best location available, you will enjoy a warm drink and a sweet biscuit. You'll have you back to the city centre by midnight, so you can be well-rested the next morning.

Your guide will give you the option to have your photo taken, which will be available for purchase within a few days after the tour.

Know in advance:

Minimum age of participants: 4 years (please assess your child's comfort and safety for this activity - the local operator can accept younger children, however, parents must bring a car seat, thermal clothing and a meal, the office must be informed)
Maximum group size: 15 people (Minimum of 4 adults to confirm the tour)
If you are travelling by cruise ship, please ensure you have informed the local operator and provide the correct pick-up information. They can pick up and drop off at Breivika harbour ONLY when prearranged
The tour involves some walking (at least 200m), the track conditions could be icy, slippery, uneven, muddy or snowy, please wear appropriate footwear
This tour does not include thermal suits and boots. The temperatures may be freezing (sometimes below -15), so please ensure you are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear. Synthetic materials and cotton that are more than 50% blend are unsuitable
