Start by downloading the Action Tour Guide app, which acts as your personal tour guide, audio guide and map all in one. This self-guided driving tour takes you from Anchorage to Seward, showcasing Alaska’s wildlife and natural beauty.

Discover the wonders of Kenai Fjords National Park and keep your eyes open for bears, moose and seals! Next on your itinerary is the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, where you can see bison, bears and moose. Then, traverse the tranquil Portage Valley, adorned with glaciers, rivers and towering mountains. Take a break at the McHugh Creek Trail, where you can enjoy a short hike with views of the Turnagain Arm. Then, drop by Beluga Point, where you might catch a glimpse of migrating beluga whales.

Continue your journey to Girdwood and the popular Alyeska Resort. Wander through Moose Meadows and Winner Creek Trail in the Chugach National Forest. Cross Portage Valley once more, then head to the Byron Glacier Trail for a close-up view of the glacier.

Stop off at the Portage Glacier Visitor Center to learn about the glacier's history, then head to Hope, a gold rush town. Visit Summit Lake to take in the mountain views and be sure not to miss Tern Lake and Moose Pass.

Finish your expedition in Seward by visiting the Harding Icefield and Exit Glacier, two of Alaska’s most famous natural wonders. Conclude your journey alongside the Resurrection River, immersing yourself in the tranquillity and allure of the region.
