Upon your arrival at Juan Santamaria Airport, you'll be guided to your transfer. Once you reach Sarapiqui, you'll have free time to soak up the natural surroundings of the lodge. Marvel at the tropical plants, butterflies and hummingbirds, or simply unwind to the soothing sounds of nature. As dusk falls, embark on a two-hour walk through the forest. A naturalist guide will enlighten you about the nocturnal species inhabiting the rainforest, offering a different perspective of this ecosystem.
The following day begins with a breakfast at the lodge before you set off for an adventure on the Sarapiqui river. Brace yourself for a raft class, guided by professionals who will equip you with safety gear and instructions. The rapid promises a thrilling ride amidst the incredible flora and fauna. Halfway through the tour, take a break to savour fresh tropical fruit and recharge before continuing your journey. You'll also have an opportunity to swim and cliff-jump during this break. After 2.5 hours of extreme adventure, a traditional lunch awaits you at riverside facilities before returning to the lodge.
On your final day, after breakfast at the hotel, you'll be transferred to your next destination - either the airport or a hotel in San Jose - ready to continue your journey.
