A journey through some of the most dramatic landscapes in Tenerife. This 4x4 half-day safari takes you through valleys and above hills into the lava-scarred Teide National Park for a 100% Canarian adventure. You'll also discover remote, rustic villages such as Vilaflor, Chirche and Guía de Isora as well as Roques de García and Pico Viejo viewpoints.

Initial pick up was on time, but then we were transported to a central car park where we were allocated 4 x 4 vehicles, supposedly by nationality, this took 15 minutes. I was in a vehicle with 3 British and 3 Italian speakers and the driver was French. We got no commentary from the driver in our car but when we stopped (3 times) we had a commentary in English from another driver. The stop at the cafe was crowded and charged 1 E for toilets. Overall, I enjoyed the morning.

Although we went up some tight and twisty roads, I expected to go off-road at some time to visit rarely seen places, since we were in very capable 4x4 cars. Otherwise the views and guides were great. I really enjoyed it
