11 reviews

Discover one of the most moving historical sites in northern Poland during a guided visit to the former Stutthof Concentration Camp. This tour offers a powerful insight into the tragic events of World War II and honours the memory of the victims who suffered there.

During the visit, you'll explore the original camp grounds, including prisoner barracks, the gas chamber, and the crematorium. The museum’s exhibitions provide historical context, personal stories, and photographs that help visitors understand the daily life and hardships of the prisoners.

The tour includes transportation from Gdańsk and back, ensuring a comfortable and informative journey through one of the most significant memorial sites in Poland. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in a comfortable minibus and take you to Sztutowo, where the former camp, now Stutthof Museum, is located. Visit the museum for about two hours with an English-speaking museum guide.

Stutthof Concentration Camp is the first and longest operating concentration camp in the Polish territory. The moment the German Nazis invaded Poland, massive arrests of Poles in the Free City of Danzig started. Only on the first day of the war, approximately 1500 people were arrested and interned here. Stutthof was the place where 110,000 people were kept: men, women, and children, citizens of 28 countries and over 30 nationalities.
