Königssee day trip with boat ride and salt mine

Leave Munich for a day trip to the region of Berchtesgaden, with your local guide. During the ride from Munich to your first stop at Königssee Lake, enjoy the live commentary provided by your guide as you travel through south-east Germany.

Travel in comfort aboard an air-conditioned bus on a scenic 2.5-hour journey to the Bavarian Alps. As the countryside unfolds outside your window, enjoy insightful commentary from your guide about the region’s history and landscape.

Upon arrival, change into traditional miner’s clothing and venture deep into the mountain. Glide down the thrilling wooden miner’s slide, marvel at the glowing subterranean salt grottoes, and drift across a mysterious underground lake on a 100-meter wooden raft. This engaging experience is ideal for both families and curious travellers of all ages.

Next, travel to the crystal-clear Königssee, one of Germany’s most stunning alpine lakes. Board an electric boat and cruise to the iconic St. Bartholomä peninsula. Along the way, witness the famous echo show — a hauntingly beautiful harmony played by a musician, bouncing off the sheer rock walls of the fjord-like lake.

Disembark to explore St. Bartholomä at your own pace. Enjoy a Bavarian snack, snap incredible photos, or simply take in the serenity of this alpine paradise before returning by boat and bus.
