Embark on a 2-day adventure from Djerba to the Sahara, blending culture, adventure, and relaxation.
On day one, you'll drive through the Roman road to the mainland and stop at the shimmering Chahbania Salt Lake for photos. You'll then head to Tataouine to visit its vibrant local market and continue to the Berber village of Chenini, perched on a hilltop with breathtaking views.
You'll have lunch in a local restaurant and then drive to Ksar Ghilane, a famous desert oasis where you can opt for a camel ride or quad biking through the dunes. Before settling into your desert camp, take a swim in the natural hot spring and learn more about the preparation of the sand bread!
The day ends with a dinner and a traditional Bedouin evening, and a night in your comfortable tent.
On day two, you'll have breakfast at the camp before heading to Matmata, known for its troglodyte houses. You'll visit the charming village of Tamazret and meet locals to learn about their traditional way of life. Explore the iconic Sidi Idriss Hotel, a filming site for Star Wars, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, you'll visit the Berber village of Toujane celebrated for its spectacular views and handmade crafts, and then return to Djerba.
