With Fuerteventura so close to Lanzarote, you'll be able to hop over for a day of sightseeing. And this full day tour promises just that. You'll catch the fast ferry over in the morning then spend the day exploring the north coast, including El Cotillo, Corralejo and the white sand dunes of Corralejo Natural Park.

Transport's all sorted – you'll be picked up by bus and taken to Playa Blanca from where the fast ferry to Fuerteventura departs. Then once you're on the other side, you'll firstly venture to the fishing village of El Cotillo to stretch your legs with a stroll along the beachfront.

Your next stop will be the seaside resort of Corralejo to enjoy some free time for lunch at one of the seafood restaurants before a scenic drive is on the cards. You'll travel into Corralejo Natural Park, which is home to the largest stretch of sand dunes in the Canary Islands. Climb to the top of one for a photo, then wind down your day at the beach before heading back.

The guide was excellent. We didn't enjoy Corralejo at all. The town was a dive with tattoo and vape shops everywhere. There were no nice shops and the whole place seemed grubby. The sand dunes were OK but not as spectacular as the ones in Boa Vista. The highlight of our trip was El Cotillo, a nice little village, we found a lovely restaurant for lunch. The best thing is the trip has saved us money as we were thinking of taking a holiday here,the hotels we saw seemed down market,not for us.

It was a long day and a lot more walking than I thought there would be. No safety talk on Ferry about life jackets etc. Would of liked more time at beach .

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience in Fuerteventura. We thought it was all well balanced and the time spent it at each attraction was just right. Instead of shopping in Corralejo we had a lovely breakfast on the beach. Perfect! We got off the beaten track in the little fishing village and had a wonderful sushi lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed climbing the sand dunes. The scenery was lovely. The guides,Maddie and Pierre were excellent. And the coach is very comfortable.

Time could have been allocated more appropriately to the description of the excursion.
