The Bali Glass Bridge, located in Gianyar Regency, became a magnet for tourists upon its inauguration.
This impressive structure stretches 188 metres long and 2.2 metres wide, while standing at an imposing height of 66 metres. From this lofty vantage point, you can enjoy the awe-inspiring views of the verdant landscape and the river meandering far beneath, providing a heart-stopping experience due to its towering stature.
As Indonesia's inaugural glass bridge and the lengthiest in Southeast Asia, it serves as a link between two villages: Tegenungan Banjar in Kemenuh Village, Sukawati, and Blangsingsa Banjar in Saba Village, Blahbatuh. You're free to access the bridge from either village, with the experience remaining consistent regardless of your chosen entry point.
The bridge boasts three layers of robust glass, each measuring 10 centimetres thick, and is bordered by 1.5-metre-high iron railings for added safety. It's securely suspended by sturdy iron and steel cables, to guarantee a safe yet thrilling stroll.
