Beneath a thick canopy of green, your local guide will reveal the secrets of the Goan jungle on this full-day tour. As they lead you into the rainforest, the sights and sounds of the jungle will come alive as you hear stories of survival and sustainable living. A big part of surviving in the jungle is understanding the plants, so there's a spice and herb farm tour to learn more about their medicinal benefits, as well as what's good to eat and what you should avoid.
Then, it's time to put your foraging lesson to the test as you gather wild ingredients for a cooking demonstration that will be part of your lunch later on. While the spices are simmering, you'll head to the eco-village to learn more about how the locals live in harmony with the jungle. They'll welcome you into their houses and show you the sustainable efforts they're making, like turning kitchen waste into cooking gas.
After enjoying the fruits of your labour at lunch, it's elephant time. You'll help prepare food for the elephants and then learn from their carers about how they gently communicate and connect with these majestic creatures before you watch them enjoy their mud baths in the river. Then, for the last hour of the tour it's your turn to swim and splash or simply float in a natural pool, taking in your exotic yet peaceful surroundings.
