The morning part of the tour begins with a visit to St Paul's Cathedral where you enter as their doors open. As you explore the masterpiece designed by Wren in 1673, a professional guide will provide explanations and anecdotes of the sites. Take the time to listen to the 1695 organ that Mendelssohn once played and visit the tombs of Nelson and Wellington. Next, you can make the most of a photo-stop outside Westminster Abbey before heading to the Buckingham Palace. Buckingham Palace is the home of the British monarchy and it was The late Queen Elizabeth II's residence in London as well as her administrative headquarters. Watch the world famous changing of the Guard ceremony as the soldiers, dressed in their fabulous tunics and busbies march to military music. Please note that on very rare occasions visits to St. Paul's Cathedral may be subject to change. On Sundays when there is restricted viewing at the Cathedral there will be an opportunity to enter and enjoy one of the services.
The tour departs at Victoria Coach Station, Gate 19 - 20, at 7:45am (Boarding starts 7:30am) and finishes at the the London Eye at approximately 16:30pm.
