At vandre rundt i Balis Sommerfuglepark i Tabanan bliver det første, vi gør. Det er et reservat for sommerfugle og insekter med hundredvis af sommerfugle herunder nogle sjældne indonesiske arter. Du bliver opslugt gående en tur gennem de labyrintiske haver, mens du nyder de farverige insekter, der flagrer omkring dig. Derefter stopper turen ved Jatiluwih-risterrasserne, som har status som Verdensarvssted hos UNESCO. Turen går dybere ind i landskabet, som vi ankommer til bjergbyen Bedugul og Beratan-søen. Her finder du det ikoniske hinduistiske Shaivite-tempel Ulun Danu. Templet ligger på et lille udsigtspunkt over søen og er hjemsted for vandets gudinde ved navn Danu, som menes at kontrollere øens vandingssystem. Til sidst besøger vi Leke-Leke-vandfaldet, en fredelig vandfald, der ligger gemt væk i den nordlige del af Balis jungle.
