You'll spend the day in Thessaloniki, an ancient city that reflects its history in every street, with Roman, Neoclassical and modern-style buildings standing shoulder to shoulder. Start your guided tour up within the thick Byzantine walls and work your way down through the oldest part of the city, taking in the UNESCO-listed St Dimitris church, Rotonda and the Arch of Galerius. You'll arrive at the Aristotelous main square, where you'll have some free time to grab a coffee and gaze out over the Aegean Sea. Finally, you'll hop on a boat and cruise along the coast for a slower paced perspective of the city, taking in waterfront sights like the White Tower and the bronze statue of Alexander the Great.
